Wool, Acrylic Eyelash Yarn

Olivia is a marionette made of wool and acrylic yarns. The puppet was knitted using stockinette stitch to depict ostrich skin and a pile-weave stitch to indicate feathers. The eyes are fabric-covered buttons with eyelash yarn. Although not life-size, Olivia Stands tall at four feet. The puppet was developed as part of a collection of knitted animals and would function well in children's theatre.
